Ted has been in the automotive industry for over four decades! In 1961 he went to work for a local VW franchise starting out in Service and eventually moving through all the other departments. He earned top salesperson awards four years in a row against top salespeople all across the country. After thirteen years at the franchise dealership he worked at his brother's independent dealership for five years before opening Superior Motors, Inc. in 1979. Today, Mr. Bowman is highly regarded by his fellow dealers and is proud of his affiliation with VIADA, Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association. He currently serves as District 8 Treasurer and in the past has filled just about every other position in the association on both a State and District level.

Ted and his wife of 39 years, Emogene, have three kids and live locally. When not buying and selling cars, Ted enjoys working around the home and tending to his cattle. He is down to earth and always willing to help out those in the community that need it. He and his sons have earned a reputation that is second to none! Superior Motors, Inc. - The name says it all!

Teddy has been working for his dad since 1986. He started shortly after graduating but has been around cars all his life. He has followed his father's footsteps and is proud of his work, his family's dealership and their success. Teddy has seen a lot of growth over the years in the exit #7 area. Superior Motors, Inc. is located just across from the Super Wal-Mart and Teddy can remember seeing the cows getting moved out and the buildings going up! Another thing that has grown just as much in the same time frame is the area community's appreciation and admiration for a car dealership that treats everyone with fairness and honesty. For this reason they enjoy a lot of repeat and referral business with some customers that have never bought a car anywhere else and others that have three and four cars in their driveways that were purchased from Superior Motors, Inc.

Teddy has a son named Leighton that he loves dearly and enjoys spending quality time with. When he can get away from the car lot Teddy enjoys fishing and the outdoors. Stop by and see the 'trophies' on his wall and be ready to hear the stories that come with them!

Todd has worked with his dad and brother for over a decade now and there is nothing else he would rather do! Todd went to work for his dad shortly after college and has enjoyed a lot of success in the automotive industry. Todd knows a lot about cars but most importantly, he gets to know his customer before worrying about what car or truck to sell them. When you deal with Todd you get the feeling that he is putting you and your family's needs first and that will put you at ease when picking out your next pre-owned automobile. He and Teddy share all the responsibilities around the dealership and both work well together. You might find either of them selling cars or cleaning campers or anything else in between!

Todd attended East Tennessee University where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in 1992. He is married and has two sons, Bryce and Garett. In his spare time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, deer hunting, riding ATV's, and of course, Camping!
